In the 90's there was an direct action group called the Lesbian Avengers, who would (among other things) escort trans women into any space that might be dangerous or uncomfortable for them; so that they would be safe and feel heard. I feel like the LGBT community has lost this sense of strong community organizing that is desperately needed today. Please, while you are reading this, google your city and LGBT community center. I'm certain you will find a volunteer button. Sign up, get organized, help one another. We have each other.

new year new ddos i wanted to share this dream i had a while ago about them
a discord screenshot that says "had a dream last night that the reason the disconnects were happening were not bc of ddos attacks but bc the ffxiv team would take the game offline any time they found someone using mods. to bring shame to the person, they would put their name on the black screen shown as well as what they thought about their modded character. i remember this screen being shown in my dream and i woke up laughing" there is an image attached that has a black background with white text that says "Weezer Nightcore was caught using MODS. He looked like an off-brand Barbie doll."

i cant recommend people to read dorohedoro . the art style, character themes, and storyline is right up my alley but its also intensely dark and gorey and there are some subject matters and themes i wish was handled with more care (especially in regards to ebisu) . the anime is v different
