Did improv on stage for the first time at an improv jam tonight and holy craaaap! It was so much fun! I was so nervous at first but it ended up being so great! I love improv people. 🥰

i have posted before that i think you are an artist before you ever make a painting or song or book. i understand it is a unique perspective and that is okay, but i am thinking on it again after seeing post from buckaroo @scalzi.com specifically how it relates to my perspective on grief and death
Proposition: You become a writer the moment you write, a musician the moment you make music, a painter the moment you paint, etc. You become an artist the moment you find your own voice as a writer/musician/painter/etc.

Been taking improv classes and having a blast. It's been unexpectedly hard letting myself get weird and silly for scenes, but I guess that makes sense. A lifetime of stressing about appearing "normal" in front of people kinda kills the creativity. It's been fun knocking that down a bit though.

Wasn't sure if I'd have juice in the tank to make it to one of the showings for BTS Movie Weeks at the theatre but I'm really glad I went tonight. Finally remembered to bring my ARMY Bomb with me to one of these events, too!

Couldn't resist getting a happy meal for the Tiny Tan and was delighted at receiving a sweet lil V. I know I would have been elated no matter who I unboxed but omg look at himmm. Decided he's going to live in my rhaphidophora tetrasperma pot like a lil Jack in the Beanstalk. 💜
