At the 2024 IMC meeting, Richard Henderson laid down a challenge. Design a #TEM single-particle #cryoEM lens with 1mm Cc at 100kV. I'm thrilled to reveal our new Arxiv preprint delivering a fully retrofittable pole-piece swap out for the @jeoleurope.bsky.social 1400 TEM.

Excited to share this interactive pre-print investigating the information transfer of phase retrieval techniques in STEM 🔬

Now everyone has an open-access tool to optimise their experimental parameters ✨

Feel free to share and play around with it 🧪

5 rules a tech CEO can learn from mopping the lab floor at the weekend... 🥺
1) 🧹Don't ask your team to do something you wouldn't be willing to do yourself.
2) ⌚Don't tell your team how long a task should take until you've done it yourself.
