"Well, it's the 13th of January. My 26th birthday. Never thought I'd make it this far.
Frankly, I haven't had very good emotional health since June of this [past] year. I've been outright undergoing depression over the fall and winter, for likely the same reasons as some of you. As I write, I'm raw from one of the worst days I had in quite a long while. After this Weight Gain Drive, I plan to take a short break from drawing, to recover. Hopefully, my birthday will go better.
I was blown away by the amount of attention the drive got to the point where I really, hand-to-God, had trouble with keeping up. While we didn't quite make it to 1,000 followers, 40 away from it is pretty damn close. For that, I wish to extend thanks to my friends and mutuals who helped me think up the idea and encouraged me to get it started. It'd been years since I did something like this and I learned a fair bit from this experience.
And, from the bottom of my heart,
