Had a long run today to start building up distance for the 10K, felt so good to just get out to run without worrying about keeping a certain pace 🎈🧡

Today marks the end of my 5K training, concluding the run in just little over 30 minutes!! Not bad for being the first one 💪🏼 now on to training for double the distance, wish me luck!!

Last week on #WorldCancerResearchDay the whole lab and other colleagues from @nucancer.bsky.social turned into bakers to help fundraising for @cancerresearchuk.org, a charity close to us for their commitment to fund groundbreaking projects in cancer research. Lovely seeing the public engaged!
