No other country provides healthcare for its population through a private insurance system. Not one. The reason is simple: it is wildly inefficient, fails to meet the population's needs, and is completely illogical. This system needs to be dunked. Medicare for all!!!

I'm in my late 60's and couldn't agree more. Schumer needs to step aside. If he won't do it on his own then the Senate Democratics need to grow a spine and throw him out. His time has passed.
We need young, energetic, brilliant people. The old men just aren’t “up” for it, and they never will be. Don’t allow them to make it over for us/for future generations. Fight, for honest-to-God change. I’m old and I am so ready for the young.

I don't want to hear squat about Trump changing his position on the Russia-Ukraine conflict until Trump actually takes concrete action against Russia. Until then the media should just ignore his bullshit from today.

It is truly mind boggling to me that people who profess to follow the teachings of Christ support an administration that delights in intentionally inflicting such cruelty on humans. How these people can live with their hypocrisy is beyond me. My head would explode.

We should send a t-shirt to all those MAGA Medicaid recipients with Jefferson's quote in all caps: They Government You Elect Is The Government You Deserve. They can meditate on that when they have no local hospital and are driving two hours to get medical treatment (if they don't die on the way).
