This is and will be a civil war. There is no denying it, no deflecting it, only postponing it. BUT, it will happen mark my words. There are no other options. The more we accept and prepare for this the shorter it will be, but there is no stopping this inevitability. We are currently delusional.
In his landmark civil rights speech President John F Kennedy, on the very night that Medgar Evers was murdered, said “We face a moral crisis as a country and as a people. Those who do nothing are inviting shame as well as violence. Those who act boldly are recognizing right as well as reality.”

Tear gas is banned in international warfare, yet classified as a “riot control agent” that law enforcement can use for crowd control.

“It just doesn’t work well, and it hits the weakest people the most, and causes the most complications in them,” an anesthesiology professor at Duke University said.
Tear Gas Is Way More Dangerous Than Police Let On
In the middle of a respiratory pandemic, law enforcement agencies have used tear gas in especially dangerous ways. The chemical agent also seeps into homes, contaminates food, furniture, skin and surf...

AOC: Why haven’t so many people been prosecuted? Why are Pam Bondi and the DOJ continuing to hide the majority of the Epstein files, which they admit contain even more direct evidence of genuinely shocking crimes and abuse of women, minors, and increasingly men…

AOC on ICE: It’s our task to figure out how to claw back what has essentially supercharged this agency into becoming a relentless domestic paramilitary that is also a blank check to Palantir to create facial-recognition scans on U.S. citizens.

The Epstein case reflects systemic issues within the American elite. Despite clear evidence, the perpetrators will probably never be charged. They engage in exploitative practices without consequence. The American oligarchy has amassed its wealth through parasitism

Our elected representatives have abandoned the legal ability to prosecute crime because it requires true law enforcement, something we have let drift from our grasp and allowed corruption to drive the steering wheel. They were elected to figure this out and are clearly incapable except for a tiny few
In Springfield, Ohio, people are preparing in advance of a “large deportation” promised by the president. To all appearances, the city is two or three days from a federal ethnic cleansing, grounded in a hate campaign organized by the vice-president and American Nazis.

This should piss everyone off, and our tax dollars paid for this.

A massive building purchased by ICE for $70 million in Arizona to “warehouse” immigrants.

Calling this “housing” is a lie. This is storage. This is treating human beings like inventory.

I will tell you how. A massive sea of enablers and grifters. An evil demented conservative legion that believes they are the moral ones because they embrace the same old doctrine of white christian nationalism at all costs, and will sleep with demons to continue to wear that mask.
How on earth did this uncouth buffoon ever make it to the White House? More baffling, how on earth is he still allowed to continue wrecking the country; economically, socially and politically?
The U.S. is sadly unrecognisable!

Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara: "People have had enough. This is the third shooting in less than 3 weeks. The MPD went the entire year last year recovering about 900 guns from the street, arresting hundreds of violent offenders, and we didn't shoot anyone ... this is not sustainable."

Yes, IF we had an organized effective democratic party. We do not and it is beyond shameful.
Yes, the GOP controls Congress. That's why it's key to show Congress COULD stop the madness. And it's not just the DHS bill. Congress could repeal the prior multi-year $75b for DHS; set up a special investigative committee (cf. Watergate); amend the Insurrection Act; etc.

NEW: Minnesota BCA was denied access to the crime scene. They got a WARRANT and DHS STILL BLOCKED THEM. So DHS doesn’t need a warrant to enter your house, but an actual warrant to enter the crime scene is denied?

Attorney General Pam Bondi: "Our country was founded on law enforcement"
Bondi: "It's extremely organized. The signs they have are all matching, they're well written. And look at what's happening today. How did these people go out & get gas masks? These protesters. Would you know how to walk out on the street and buy a gas mask? Think about that. We're not gonna have it"

The torturer? Now the head of the NRA.

ICE just shot another one of my neighbors. They had the person on the ground, being beaten by several agents, and then fired multiple shots. In front of the donut shop where we like to get donuts for our kids.
