My newest portfolio piece.
This was originally started last year part of the October challenge of daily sketch paintings. As I posted the sketch online a lot of people liked it, so I thought that I would polish it up as a portfolio piece. :)

Todays morning study. This took longer than usual! Something about the face was really difficult to get right, the likeness is still not quite there but close enough! haha.

So, why didn't anyone tell me that my art was SUPER dark in values! :D
Loaned a new monitor from my wife's PC setup that she never uses and yeahhh... My old Eizo has really washed out contrast. Been going through calibrating the new one and I think I got it right! Need to update some old art now...

Something that started with the idea of a "mage" and went with it. Liked the sketch so much that decided to put a lot more effort into it, haha. Was quite a challenge with the multiple light sources. Hope you like it!
Also decided to add this into my worldbuilding project so she's a Bohiym nomad :)

Something that started with the idea of a "mage" and went with it. Liked the sketch so much that decided to put a lot more effort into it, haha. Was quite a challenge with the multiple light sources. Hope you like it!
