I was talking with a reporter the other day about this. They asked why I thought guys like Bezos, Soon-Shiong, and Zuckerberg were suddenly so open with their Trumpy politics. I said that I thought it was because Elon Musk showed them that they could and they wouldn't face any real repercussions.
the big tech world has wanted to be as openly ‘anti-woke’ as elon musk has been, they’ve long agree with him but figured social sentiment was firmly against reactionary world views. now that musks gambit paid off, we’re going to be seeing more of this for awhile

I'm on my own tonight for dinner so I treated myself to sushi delivery but the guy brought me the wrong order and he's going to switch it back. I just hope Jason M isn't digging into my sushi rolls right now!

My therapist says I need to schedule a regular weekly call with a friend so I can stop isolating myself but I am scared of asking a friend because it seems like such a one sided favor and I don't want to bother anyone. Like I know in my heart any of my friends would do it but still I'm scared.
