Some quick thoughts on the tariffs on steel & aluminum - key inputs for infrastructure, defense, manufacturing

Concern: Foreign subsidies & interventions make US too dependent on imported steel & aluminum

Goal: Promote domestic production

But are tariffs best for this goal?
