BASEMENT FILMS: “Most of all we would like to thank the doctors/contributors/survivors… and to apologize for not believing them BBC would never run a film like this. Turns out they were right.”

BBC just shelved a doc about Gaza doctors. 🤔

We’ve arranged a society on science and technology in which nobody understands anything about science and technology, and this combustible mixture of ignorance and power sooner or later is going to blow up in our faces.

Health-care workers urge Alberta to halt plan limiting free COVID-19 vaccines | Globalnews.ca

My latest in @edmontonjournal.com . The Journal of the American Medical Association recently advised Long COVID in kids may have now surpassed asthma as the leading paediatric chronic illness.

Danielle Smith's response: start charging for and limiting vaccines.

Opinion: UCP's COVID vaccine cuts put children at serious risk
A policy of ending pediatric COVID vaccination will disable, hospitalize and even kill Albertan children, leaving blood on Smith’s hands.

Also, LaGrange is lying about the $110 per vaccine cost. This study, found with a five-second Google search, estimates the Canadian price at $43 Cdn. The study provides a cost-benefit analysis that shows it makes economic sense for govts to pay for vaccines.

What’s next, patient fees for that screening blood test or flu shot or mammogram or childhood immunization? Because all of those things are preventative healthcare staples too and all of them keep Albertans out of the hospital or get them early treatment so they can survive.

They also SAVE MONEY.
The Alberta Government is framing their abdication of public health measures as fiscal responsibility.

It is far cheaper to give someone a vaccine than to keep them on a ventilator.

Denying vaccines is one of the most most financially reckless things a government can do.
