#Bridgerton is a horror series.

Change my mind.
So far, the show seems to suggest that there is no escape for a Bridgerton, only doom.

We are all praying for Eloise.

You can test new tech ideas using the Seinfeld Test

Would the product eliminate the plot of an episode? (Google maps, cell phones, paypal, battery packs)

Good tech.

Would the product inspire new Seinfeld plots? (NFTs, AI chatbots, crypto currency, blindboxes, metaverse land sales)

Bad tech.

Watching the newest season of #Bridgerton and two things were evident in, like, the first five minutes of the season:
1. They're just straight-up doing Cinderella, aren't they?
2. The Bridgertons clearly have a family curse, and a powerful one at that.

Healed a party of near-min-ilvl characters through the current endgame dungeon in #FFXIV yesterday and... wow. One of my players stood in the bad, died, I picked them up, healed them to like 80%, put up a bubble, and *the next raidwide* instantly killed them again.

That one was on me, but damn.

If you haven't played Iconoclasts, you've been missing out.

This is in my perennial top ten games of all time.
Happy 🔧 ICONOCLASTS 🔧 anniversary!

Sat a long time on physical goods, and could use help for coming projects. I decided to try a few auctions for support! Hope this is a good avenue for those of you asking for this.

I have always been grateful for your support! 💛

Democratic Party candidates should be held to the same standard as my church holds its ministers.

If you've never been arrested at a civil rights protest, you at least have to make a convincing argument why not.

Looks like we'll be getting near-record lows* around the end of this week. Oh joy.

* Around -30; wind chill in the mid -40s.

Here's the original study:
arxiv.org/abs/2601.02671

An interesting detail: some of the systems appear to have safeguards in place that prevent the user from accessing the "stored" data, despite every indication that it is actually there. This suggests intentional action by the systems' creators.

I saw this in isolation and was like...

Warframe?

(yup, it was warframe)
Truly love how the expansion that was *both* devoted to answering the most convoluted and gnarly lore questions *and* updating a bunch of systems that were really feeling their age did it thru the mediums of boy bands and dating sims.

The ION train in K-W is an absolute treasure
friends, on this most tram of Tuesdays, let me take you on a little journey into a tale of two new tram systems here in Ontario, just 80km apart as the crow flies but a world apart in operations: the Kitchener-Waterloo ION tram, and the brand new Toronto Line 6 Finch West tram

This is just a good general principle when you're put in a position like this.

If the only choice you're offered in a situation is to take what you're given or leave, the only way for you to exert any power over the situation is to leave.
The only option is what you see here, to walk.

You don't have a relationship where your role matters beyond the ability to take or leave what they offer so your only power is in leaving and finding a situation where that isn't the case.

So I have no dog in the Ottawa PWHL stadium dust up, but I think they lost their team and the reason are going to lose them is worth talking about:

The complaints from the team are all about being excluded from planning. The mayor says we expanded seating from the original plan.

I winced.
