Another of my watercolour drawings of Winchester from 1997 (still in my possession). I sat by some railings with my back to the cathedral and completed this on the spot even though light rain came on (I had an umbrella).

Happy new year, just had to decline a donation of a coat from a gentleman that had been drinking for some time.
He had explained to me his wife hates his coat so he wanted somebody to have it. I persuaded him to maybe keep it for his walk home as it’s freezing !

Our supporter Margaret has been knitting for nearly 90 years and could not bear the thought of anyone going without especially at Christmas.
So she knitted all kinds of toys, selling them to help end homelessness.

Why would anybody support this behaviour. The lowest of the low, shove your traditions up your arse. I guess it’s supporters will want to bring back other old classics like throwing witches into the village pond.

My faith in humanity restored today, lots of people making donations to the homeless shelter where I work.
Two young kids with their mum came up with wrapped presents, they said they were going without a couple presents so they could give people without a home a smile 😊 #homelessness
