Psychiatrists/NPs/therapists who could provide off-the-books, no-fee, Zoom-based care for individuals in crisis in ICE-targeted Chicago communities, please email me: s.ericreinhart@gmail.com. Include whether you can prescribe, speak Spanish (or other languages), and available hours per week/month.

Fuck, I have been buying from iHerb for years and I had no idea Dr. Oz had a stake in them. Adding them to my boycott list and telling them why I will never shop there again.
As People Mag Points out, a treatment for autism Dr. Oz just announced Trump’s FDA is approving is sold by a supplement company owned by… Dr. Oz.

Of all the weeks to be separated from my cat while he is isolated at the emergency vet after radioactive iodine therapy. I get daily update texts and they had to give him an appetite stimulant yesterday because he was anxious and not eating. Hopefully he can come home on Monday.

I block everyone who posts a graphic about how they are going to steal someone’s meme. Just the most boring, useless “content” cluttering everything up.

Stop asking billionaires questions, recording their answers and sharing their uninformed and/or racist and/or otherwise bigoted and nonsense ideas as journalism. It’s ridiculous. They are the most boring people. Oh wah I am a white man who has more money than I can spend and I’m so mad about it!

An impending heat wave is the only thing that will make me meal prep because I can’t stand using the oven when it is 100+ degrees. I’ve got baba ganoush, hummus, boiled eggs, pesto pasta salad, and Greek salad dressing prepped. Pita bread from Aldi + lettuce from my CSA and I am set for the week.

Adding Instant Pot to my boycott list. “According to Semafor, this “collaboration with representatives of the Trump administration” will see “a portion of the profits” go to the Trump Presidential Library. Already wrote to IP to tell them why they’ll never see another dime from me. #gofashlosecash

This in the UK and not the US, but it serves as a reminder that no one should be using a period tracking app. Use a paper calendar like we did back in the day and make up a code for the days you have sex and days you have your period.

I advocate for due process for Kilmer Abrego García, bitch.
JUST IN: Deputy Assistant to the President and "Counterterrorism Czar" Sebastian Gorka says anyone advocating for due process for Kilmar Abrego Garcia could be viewed as "aiding and abetting a terrorist" and be federally charged. (h/t Philip Germain)

I love you, Wisconsin! SUCK IT, ELON!
Susan Crawford has WON a seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court, keeping the liberal 4–3 majority on lock—& sending a big ol’ “not today, tech bro” to Elon Musk, who dumped millions trying to stop it. This court is about to rule on abortion & labor rights so this win is not just symbolic—it’s clutch AF

Wow.

Rep. Chuck Edwards is getting torn apart at a town hall in Asheville, NC.

“I’m a veteran & you don’t give a fuck about me. You don’t get to do this to us!”

Edwards orders veteran to be thrown out.

We’re approaching a tipping point now. Anger across the country is going to boil over soon.

Low/no buy tip: If your public library has Kanopy, you have a wealth of free streaming video available. My house is subscribing to zero streaming services right now and watching all the 40s and 50s noir movies for free instead. They have lots of recent stuff too, like most of the A24 films.
