A wild few weeks for everyone, but especially for those impacted by executive action and workforce reductions. If you were impacted, there are FREE coaching resources for you!

Did you pick up a copy of “It All Makes Sense Now” by Meredith Carder yet? If not, this is a great week to do it.

ADHD folks, I want your input! What do you LOVE about Hybrid learning events? What do you think would make Hybrid BETTER?

A thread on the other app about synesthesia sums up why it’s so hard to discuss 😆 nobody perceives things the same way, so we can’t even agree on the color of the number seven.

🟨 it’s yellow by the way 🟨

As people begin posting their fresh new planners for 2025, I’ve had crippling flashbacks to when I spent $$$$ on a fancy schmancy planner only to use it the same as (or less than) any Dollar Tree planner.

ADHDers, don’t succumb to all that “new year new you” pressure! You’re pretty great already.

I’ve been sick for two weeks, and despite meds and rest and all that jazz, I’ve still reached this stage of just yelling at the sky between coughing attacks.

I love working for myself, but I miss all the holiday treats around the office. Luckily, my husband’s boss sent cookies 🎄🍪

BC Place Stadium (location for the last three stops of The Eras Tour) is across the street from a Costco. Never in my life have I felt “in the clerb we all fam” like I did that night.

In case you are spending a holiday meal with any Negative Nancy’s, let me be the first to say:

- You look wonderful
- I’m excited about your new hobby/job/relationship/recipe/whatever is bringing you joy
- Comfy clothes are more important than fancy clothes

Happy Thanksgiving!

Two truths and a lie:

1) I snagged a ticket to #TheErasTour in Vancouver
2) I will be on a panel at #SXSW talking about #ADHD
3) I have never lost my train of thought

Your turn!

I saw this on another app…not only does this person have a great sense of humor and artistic talent, but also a big wonderful heart that auctioned of this cutie for a non-profit. This makes my neurodivergent brain (always prioritizing humor, social justice, creativity) VERY happy 😃 #traumadumpling
Thank you, thank you, thank you to the buyer of the dumpling!

I started a new book today. I’ll read a line about chasing dreams (risk tolerance) or having big feelings (emotional regulation) or starting many unrelated projects (interest-driven brains) or a million other things and think “ooh I wonder if they have ADHD too?!”

3-5 years is a perfectly acceptable window of time to see if the art “works” in a particular space 🙃

Quick reminder to care about where you get your info 🤓
You know the "🔹AI Overview" you get on Google Search?

I discovered today that it's repeating as fact something I made up 7 years ago as a joke.

"Kyloren syndrome" is a fictional disease I invented as part of a sting operation to prove that you can publish any nonsense in predatory journals...

Okay. Potato Mode is over. I saw a typo hours after I posted it, so now I’m more of an anxious carrot.

After 4 weeks of nonstop conferences, clients, family events, volunteering and travel, I am pleased to announce I have entered 🥔Potato Mode🥔. I invite you all to join me (you know, from your own house) because I bet you owe yourself some potato time too. Coach potato? Tater tots? You decide.

Hey, just FYI, I found the missing valet ticket from three nights ago. It was never lost. It was just in a *very* safe place.

I modified some #taylorswift lyrics (from OOTW) when I made this bracelet for something else…but maybe it was foreshadowing waking up to check Bluesky all along 🤔

I had to valet my car this evening. I promptly lost the valet ticket (sarcastic thanks, ADHD and poor working memory) but apparently I had already memorized the ticket number and assigned it a color to help me remember (actual thanks, synesthesia!)

This is what I love about synesthesia. Some people can hear numbers, perceive letters/words as colors, or see sounds!

For anyone that attended the Annual International Conference on ADHD this week, what would you compare it to, and why did you pick summer camp?

The joy of sharing a meal with five other ADHDers is that we can talk about everything and nothing at the same time.
