Update, the "ground" we're breaking today is actually snow from A Christmas Carol. This is delightful and very on-brand for RI.
Here at the groundbreaking for Trinity Rep's expansion. Seeing as groundbreakings are always ceremonial and it's raining, I was glad to see the festivities will take place on the indoor stage.

My fiance and I had this conversation while house hunting. Even though it ultimately wasn't feasible (or what we wanted) to leave RI, it's tough when you see friends buying homes and throwing weddings in major cities with more amenities for far less.
