In Maine for a family vacation. On Great Diamond Island and this morning got to hang on one of the quiet, stony beaches this morning…was amazing to see and hear all the little creatures bubbling and moving around the puddles and pools.

All I keep thinking about is how Pete Hegseth raised questions of the competency of a Black four-star general and Air Force fighter pilot who was the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Hegseth asked did he get the job “because of his skin color? Or his skill? We’ll never know, but always doubt.”

He literally took an oath to protect and defend the Constitution on Monday.
Since then, he's tried to overrule 14A (birthright citizenship) and is now challenging 22A (terms limits for the president).
