A police death squad in El Salvador murdered at least 97 people. One of them claims they killed many of their victims on behalf of a sitting mayor. Almost all remain free and have kept their badges. #efEditorial beta.elfaro.net/en/el-faro-w...

Pleased to speak with the Hill about possible US military action in Venezuela.

Needless to say, something is profoundly broken with our constitutional order if decisions about attacking another country depend on the whims of one man.

NEW: Avelo’s ICE flights have been a fiasco, internal documents show.

Serious safety lapses, poor planning, mechanical issues, an emergency landing — and they’re not even making as much money as they hoped they would.

I’m still struggling with the fact that ICE “brown shirts” went to a taco shop and thought they would get served.

F that!

Take this for what it is; an acknowledgment by the White House that they are not focusing on people with criminal records.
Homan: "Others are in the country illegally but may not have a criminal history, but guess what? They're coming too. ICE is no longer turning a blind eye to illegal aliens in this country."

Trade and migration are deeply connected. The USMCA must stop fueling displacement and start prioritizing sound immigration policy, human rights, and labor protections.

“’I heard screaming,’ said a court observer who was present on the day Cocha’s husband, Luis, was detained. Their three children, 7, 13, and 15, clung to him as he was swarmed by agents in the hallway. No one explained to Cocha what was happening or where her husband was going.”
Every weekday on Broadway, undocumented immigrants line up to enter 26 Federal Plaza. They enter harshly lit hallways where ICE agents mill around — waiting to take people away. For our cover story, Stephanie Keith captures the anguished scenes of arrest in downtown Manhattan. buff.ly/N6JNPUP.

Maria Greeley is a U.S. citizen who was detained by ICE and told her passport “isn’t real” and that she “doesn’t look like” her last name.

What do they think an American should look like?

This racial profiling happens every day under Trump’s lawless regime. It’s un-American.

And funny story, I lived next to the San Juan Comalapa cemetery for two years. My black cat, Paxil, was the cemetery cat.
