They will spend eternity in hell together and I don’t think they’ll find anything there to laugh about. In fact, they may both wish they had chosen different lives when they had the chance. Life is very, very short. Eternity lasts forever.

No. Sanders is old and IN TOUCH. Schumer is old and out of touch. Jeffries is much younger and he is also struggling to lead. I’m actually in favor of vision, focus and leadership. I don’t see that Schumer possesses any of those qualities in necessary measure.

Mercy recognizes the pain of all who suffer-not just “our” guys. Power takes advantage of conflict to deliberately inflict and prolong suffering. The perpetrators suffer, but the innocent suffer disproportionately more, bearing the sins of the perpetrators. Every single conflict. Every single time.

He’s a former jihadist, now head of the government in Syria. Lots of world leaders have ugly histories - Trump, Putin, Kim, Netanyahu, MBS, Millei, etc. He’s trying to rebuild a country decimated by the Assad family dynasty. The stories of people liberated from Assad’s prisons make painful reading.

I’m a pretty centrist Democrat and I’ve thought Shumer needs to go for a couple of years. He and Durbin wasted a 2 year majority in the Senate. They didn’t investigate anybody. Lots of things remain hidden for no good reason. Doesn’t support candidates we want. I quit giving to DSCC a while ago.

I think that’s over. Democrats have made it abundantly clear to party leadership that it’s time use fire to fight fire. We will not self-immolate again.
