I was there, observing the smiling faces of the Seattle Police Department and their effective and silent protection line along the march route ... at a respectable distance! Way to go, SPD!! We know what side you're on when it comes to the authoritarian takeover of our city by a wanna-be king!
1/ We need to have a chat about Seattle Police and how they're handling the No Kings protests. They've been really… good. It's a marked departure in both tone and tactics from SPD's approach to protests in the past, and I think it could be a model for police forces nationwide.
