Artist, colorist, will die trying to pet an animal
I haven't been on here in ages. Spring in a nutshell: Spent time helping Mom over an illness and into assisted living (she is doing better); went to a comic convention; worked on a lot of coloring. Lost one of our cats in March, down to 2. Existential dread over nation continues apace. Me+Mom <3

Your zen moment of the day: Sope Creek, GA, in the winter. For a creek so close to houses, it was blissfully quiet, and I enjoyed the sound of the water running over the rocks.

I would rather live next to an undocumented immigrant than a freed January 6 traitor any day of the week.

Is anyone doing a deep dive into Severance? I watched the first season only a couple weeks ago, then listened to the official podcast that recapped all of season 1. Watched S2 ep 1, then combed Reddit for speculation. Now I'm listening to another S1 recap podcast...I'm hooked.

Apparently Lupita was suspicious of cats, but when she had to work with one, she discovered how cool they are! That's what I've always said: people who say they hate cats never got to know one! (Allergies are a different story, of course.)
We’ve all seen the magazine photos of TSwift and her Ragdoll. But have you seen this photo from Glamour of Lupita Nyong’o and her rescue orange? 🧡

A lovely tribute to John Cassaday, to which I was happy to contribute. www.tcj.com/remembering-...

My old girl April has massive RBF. She is actually quite happy and purring up a storm. Alt text: Closeup of a tabby cat with a wrinkled ear and a grumpy expression.

I’m excited for @gregcasar.bsky.social’s leadership at the Progressive Caucus. He’s going to be great.

Someone called this mass exodus from Twitter ‘the fall of the Broman Empire’ and I died laughing. 💀

This is Bigby, aka "Mister Man". He's a foster fail. He refuses to be petted, even though I know he would love it if he'd just let me. He's so roly-poly that he can't groom his back, so his fur is badly matted, and he will need sedation to shave the mats off. I love him to pieces.

Sweetwater Wetlands Park in Gainesville, FL is amazing. Birds and gators everywhere.

Hello. It’s been over a year since I posted here, but now, in end-stage democracy, it seems to be the right time.

Welp. I guess I should try this place out because FB makes me ennuied. Yes, that’s a word. So here’s my cat Kiki, confused about a cicada on the screen. “Mom? Wtf?”
