I was fortunate to attend a quantitative modeling workshop hosted by the Organismal Systems Modeling Network at the Ghost Ranch in NM - a stunning place to spend a week! A huge thanks to the instructors and organizers for their thoughtful teaching and for providing this excellent opportunity.

We first submitted this manuscript in 2018, it was desk rejected, and then other stuff came up.

I am proud, just a mere 7 years later, to share with you our extensive review on Bumble Bee Movement Ecology:

🚨 Everyone needs to call their Dem Senator right now. They are starting to cave.

Tell them:
1. Vote NO on Cloture
AND
2. Vote NO on the Republican spending bill.

Don’t let them pivot to reconciliation. GOP doesn’t need Dem votes on that and they know it.

TODAY is the showdown.

We published guidance on what to do if you find a bumble bee nest. These incidental discoveries could add up to be important datasets if data is (somewhat) standardized.

We provide case studies with two endangered rusty patched bumble bee nests

The 2025 Front Range Student Ecology Symposium was a blast! Thanks to all who organized and participated in the event. A special kudos to my two undergraduate mentees, CeLee Terasa and Megan Fenner, who presented awesome work!
This year's Front Range Student Ecology Symposium was another wonderful community-building event filled with exciting research, insightful workshops, and excellent presentations. This event is always a highlight of the year, and it's a joy to connect with so many peers over a shared love of ecology!
