An dragon. Makes noise-related things happen.
A little around five hours ago, one of the most influential people in my life passed away. I can honestly say that I would not be the person I am today without him.

I've had two fathers leave this world unto the next in these past six years. They were both fantastic and will live on through memory.

I wish the reasons for going were fun or good, but this 10-month-old 787 should at least get me there.

My goldfish says I should take advantage of the delivery services out there these days. I remember when they were just for food...

I realized that any Korean food I make can also be called "Southern Style."

My goldfish says it's accidentally eaten something in the 6th Arrondissement and it thinks that it might have either been a car or a building - it forgets which. Any case, it'll put it back when it's done with it.

My goldfish misread a corned beef hash recipe and ended up accidentally producing silicon wafers. Should sell those to a chip fab?

My goldfish is annoyed that scientists observing it are nosy because one of them was making comments on the mass of its accretion disc.

It's satisfying when Imperial units line up with Metric ones!

Take this oatmilk for example. 86, being divisible by 8, is perfect for halving, quartering, or eighthing recipes and 2.54, being perfectly divisible by 10, fits metric recipes really well.

I'm...almost annoyed at how good automotive cleaning products are for my furry and VR gear.

Interior cleaners are designed to take biological residue off of hard surfaces designed to be touched for hours at a time, and they're also good at protecting fabrics.

So I get back from NZ (like a week ago… but I didn’t look until now) and discover that @ashtalon.bsky.social snuck a lil picture of me into my bag and it just brought such a smile to face. Such a sweet dragon! 💙

So before the last flight I took, TSA looked at my VR rig and, after accidentally touching it with a bare hand, wiped the top with an alcohol wipe… so to all those who signed there, sorry! We’ll get you back on it soon.

I'm thankful for all the amazing folks around the world who have brought magic back into my life and who help spread it to others in a world that insists we're stupid and naive for believing in it.

Happy Thanksgiving here in the US and good tidings everywhere else.

I’ve leaned the cheat. Monday nights at the IMAX. There are 24 total people in this theatre.

So when folks ask what I've been up to this year... I think this sums things up pretty well.

Thank you to all the folks I've gotten to meet, hang out with, work with, share a meal with, and love.

Stay amazing.

With everything else going on in the world, sometimes it's nice to disappear to someone's basement and just be derg. Wait, that came out wrong.

Barks in the Basement was a lot of fun. Small, local events like it remind me why I got into this stuff.

So if I use Intel's recommendation for the replacement CPU's power settings, it'll hit 100ºC easily. It's actually between 18ºC and 22ºC cooler running Asus's OC Profile.
