I think one of the weirdest developments in modern clothing is people describing fabrics as "buttery" and that "buttery soft" is a desirable quality. They're leggings not pastry???

You guys are perhaps the wrong audience for this question, but do you think that people (what we call our "general audience" museum-goers) know what "the Crusades" are, just in a generic sense?
