Over a decade ago, I posted on FB that maybe if I accepted laundry was now a part of my daily life, it would be easier. Accepted = yes. Easier = no. #momlife

I went from being really annoyed when a neighbor mowed their lawn at 8 am over the weekend to the person waiting for 8 am so I could mow the lawn before it’s too hot outside 

I’m in the phase of parenting where my kids complain about every activity we do then afterwards they tell me how much fun it was and ask to do it again.

Told a guy in the elevator that he smelled nice and he responded with, “I have a girlfriend.” So, would you smell bad if you were single? 🤷🏼‍♀️

I will forever be simultaneously grateful and frustrated with my 10th grade Honors English Teacher for drilling into my head that sentences should never end in a "be" verb. 🤣

Why is it that one mosquito bite on your arm makes your brain decide that your whole body itches? Whyyyy?!?!?!

Anyone else convinced their tween/teen daughter is well on their way to becoming bilingual based on constantly listening to K-pop?

Does anyone remember that anti-drug commercial in the 90’s that sang “I don’t eat and I can’t sleep, but I’ve got the cleanest house on the street oh meth mmm meth?” And now your a mom with a messy house and perimenopause weight making that commercial comes across as an ad?

I erroneously woke up my daughter by saying “Good Morning” before she could determine if it was actually a good morning. Turns out, it was just an average morning. I will now be reminded of this moment every time I say “good” or “morning” with no end in sight. Oh the joy of being a #tween mom! 🤣

Clearly my Apple Watch doesn’t know me at all- alerting me that I can close my ring with a brisk 25 min walk when it snowed in Austin. Outside and exercise don’t exist today. Obviously it’s snuggle under blankets and get nothing done weather.
