I learned so much about mobulid (manta and devil) rays and about the impacts of tuna fisheries. Did you know they live 40 years, have live birth, and only produce one pup at a time? A mamma manta may only have 4-7 pups in her lifetime. Bycatch is a major problem for these animals.
