Partnerships between our towns and the county are key to progress. I’m proud to be endorsed by Knightdale Council Member Grady Bussey. We share a vision of accountability and service, and I look forward to working with leaders like Grady to move Wake County forward. #wakepol

Honored to be endorsed by Wendell Comm. Dustin Ingalls! 🤝

My record in Raleigh:
✅ Ended exclusionary zoning
✅ Expanded missing middle housing
✅ Built workforce housing on surplus land

Now, I'm taking this countywide. Teachers & first responders shouldn't be priced out of the towns they serve. 🏗️

Transgender children and adults exist, and their lived experiences and humanity are real. Denying the existence of transgender people causes real harm, especially for young people who already face disproportionate discrimination, harassment, and mental health challenges.

The housing shortage is a central driver of inequality, displacement, and economic insecurity in Wake County. I’m proud to have championed zoning reform in Raleigh. It’s great to see Mayor Zohran adopt an abundance and reform agenda. It’s not progressive to oppose new housing.
On his first day, NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani signed two executive orders aimed at accelerating housing production;

1) Land Inventory Fast Track to identify city-owned sites for housing.
2) Streamlining task force to cut permitting and bureaucratic barriers slowing construction.

New Year’s Eve in Raleigh is officially underway! We kicked off with the People’s Parade and the first round of fireworks. Festivities continue all night, leading up to the iconic acorn drop at midnight. Have fun, stay safe, and enjoy ringing in the new year in downtown Raleigh!

First U.S. president impeached twice.

First U.S. president convicted of multiple felonies.

First U.S. president responsible for the two longest government shutdowns.

Costs are still rising.

🌊 Thankful for Dem victories last night — stay engaged, midterms next!

Next year, a North Carolina couple making $85,000/year will pay $17,180 more for health insurance premiums.

This is why our government is shut down and why Democrats are standing firm.
