My MIL is still coming to terms with my partner's autism. This weekend was a lot of "well your father is a lot like that. Your father did a lot of that. Your father acted like that." and the takeaway for us was "wow she really doesn't want to be responsible for your autism"
Nothing you did is the reason your kid has autism.
