Re the MADAME DU BARRY recutting: in Franco's Spain, all foreign films had to be dubbed into Spanish. This provided an opportunity to... adjust. For instance, in MOGAMBO, Donald Sinden is not Grace Kelly's husband, but her brother (not a potential cuckold, but a protector of his sister's honor!).
