The Modern Knight just posted a note for a new Modern History video later today. Time travel to Middle Ages. Sounds like fun. Hope it includes some time spent in Blackthorne.

A new take on a very personal battle target.
I've been messing about with a new title and thumbnail for this older video to attract a new audience. What do you think?

Busy reading Lord of Blackthorne. It is a smashing tale. It's funny to say that fantastical things seem real, but that's how good this Medieval world is. Lots of twists and turns to enjoy. Available for Preorder at Amazon, Barnes & Noble etc.
My fancy Lord of Blackthorne books are being shipped out as we speak. Shiny gold foil and Edouard's wonderful artwork. Expect them to arrive over the next few days, depending where in the world you are.

The rain finally broke England's drought. The Modern Knight's woods are lush and green again. Maybe they'll be featured in an up and coming Modern History TV video.
Finally we've had some decent rain, everything smells lovely and the grass looks greener already. Went out on Warlord between showers and saw this great bird, a buzzard I think. Then got soaked, happily, as it rained again.

Just listened. This is another gem in the Modern Knight's "Day in the Life of" series. This time it's a Castle in the Marches. He paints a picture of the lives of everyone. From the Marcher Lord to the young kitchen Spit Turner. Great way to spend some time.

I'm a huge Star Wars fan and I laughed my way through this gem. Also like transportation videos so I regularly watch Capt. Steeve's usually serious, comprehensive air plane and ATC videos. This time he's outdone himself. youtu.be/4Ogmoy0_kGE?...

Modern History TV just hit 900k subscribers. For anyone interested in Medieval Life and History, Jason Kingsley, CBE, never disappoints. He not only talks Medieval, he tries it out!

Jason Kingsley, CBE, has a new light green mug. It debuts on the Influence Podcast. But the best part is the lively and fun fact-filled discussion of all things Medieval between the Modern Knight and host Matt Silverman. Don't miss this one.
"History is a lived experience."

@jasonkingsleyobe.bsky.social 's video essays about life in medieval Europe are beloved by millions, but they're far more than vlogging into a webcam.

Jason Kingsley, CBE, and Dr. Tabitha Stanmore talk magic! It's so much more than witches and enchanters. Loads of information about magic in the lives of Medieval people. Really cool facts. Hogwarts even sneaks in.

No videos of Silver Moon on Modern History TV YouTube Channel yet, but lots of Jason's other horses. Different sizes, colors & personalities. All are fun to watch. Especially his mule!
SilverMoon is fairly new here and in training. So far he's been brilliant. He's from a dressage background and I taught him to rear and show off. He's a big solid boy and I have high hopes for him.
