For Christmas, my amazing family, this crazy bunch, gave me an iPad mini. So far I've mostly used it as an e-reader, but I'm also learning to use it for drawing. It's thanks to it that I created the illustration for my previous post.

Reading isn't just holding an open book. It's entering a bubble, entering into an emotional contract, and sometimes disappearing socially for a few hours, days, or even weeks. First drawing on Ipad! Readers aren't impolite. They're just somewhere else. Very somewhere else. So consider this post an official user manual for readers. Read it before any interaction, or risk sighs, dirty looks, or a 47-minute "Wait, I'm just finishing this passage."
