Breaking: Sandie Peggie has confirmed she will appeal. Ben Cooper KC, who acted in the For Women Scotland case, will lead the appeal.

Watch here: x.com/PA/status/19...

Shereen Benjamin (LWD Scotland), journalist Susan Dalgety and former MSP Jenny Marra stood in support of Sandie today.
December 11, 2025 at 3:30 PM
Health Secretary Neil Gray MSP replied that the Scottish Government accepts the Supreme Court ruling and is taking forward the detailed work required following that judgement.

Women across Scotland will now be looking for clear, consistent outcomes in practice.

Strong, focused question from Jackie Baillie MSP today following the Sandie Peggie case, calling for a single, consistent approach across Scotland so women don’t have to complain individually just to have the law applied at work. Exactly the right point to press.

Staggering arrogance and stupidity from McDonnell. We all know what sex we are. There's no reason for men to break the law and use women's single-sex spaces. They can simply respect women's boundaries or can be told to leave. Women matter in society, law, culture, politics ... and elections!

Thank you, Lady Falkner, for your leadership and interventions in balancing the rights of everyone, in your role as Chair of the #EHRC

We are especially grateful for your defence of women's human rights, especially in the face of toxicity & hostility.

That's what the Prime Minister downwards in the government have been clear about...organisations should comply with that judgment & where they have concerns they should take legal advice on how to do it"

Good question by Lord Pannick & good answer from minister @Jacqui_Smith1
November 5, 2025 at 4:31 PM
Lord Pannick: "Does she agree it is today the obligation of all persons, whether private or public, to comply with the judgment of the Supreme Court, whether you agree with it or not, & without waiting for guidance?"
@Jacqui_Smith1 for government: "Yes, I do agree with that...

This is the oppression ladder in action. A black lesbian counts for less than a white man who claims to be a woman.

BTW: this man has served time for drug dealing and has domestic abuse on his record.

How can anyone think this is OK?

Virginia Giuffre's story is so shocking, yet familiar: the same story of vulnerable girls getting abused again & again by powerful men with the Royal Family far too slow to sanction Andrew Windsor.

The EHRC guidance cannot change the law. Any legally constituted female service provision or sport must exclude all males incl. those who identify as women and those with GRCs. So if you want to attempt to undo the legal rights women have fought for over decades you are in the right place to do so.
