🚨 Another Tory jumps ship to Reform 🚨 Braverman’s move says more about chaos on the right than “principle.” Same ideas, new rosette. While they play musical chairs, Labour is focused on fixing the NHS, the cost of living, and backing working families.

🛒 Dan Aldridge MP popped into Morrisons café to hear from residents about issues from Worle Library, Pride in Place funds & apprenticeships for local business to everyday issues like potholes, social care and bin collection which he’s raising with the council. More sessions soon.

🚑 Real progress on emergency care.
In December, ambulances reached patients faster than at any point since Covid.
For heart attacks and strokes, response times were around 15 minutes quicker than last winter. More to do, but we’re moving forward.

Trumps tariffs today brings into sharp relief how our isolated status post Brexit leaves us vulnerable - We must urgently and ambitiously reset our relationship with the EU as part of strengthening NATO so we can stand up to bullies wherever they are and whatever they threaten.

Vote Reform, Get Tories.
Senior Conservatives jumping ship says it all. Same faces, same chaos, same failure for our communities. We deserve better. Labour is focused on real change, not political games. 🌹 #Weston #Worle

NHS waiting lists are falling.
📉 Down 86,000 in November and 312,000 since Labour took office.

🚑 Ambulances arriving faster

🏥 GP access satisfaction up

This is the result of NHS staff backed by Labour’s investment and reform, opposed by the Tories and Reform. More to do, but real progress. 🌹

📚 Work is continuing to explore ways to protect a library service for Worle.
Our MP Dan Aldridge has been meeting with local residents, council officers and Worle Community Centre trustees to look at whether the library could be relocated there.
Nothing is confirmed but we’ll keep residents updated.

Same man. Same issue. Two different positions.
May 2025: Farage vows to scrap the two-child benefit cap.
Jan 2026: Reform UK will vote against lifting it.
Families need action and deserve honesty. #WestonDeservesBetter #ChildPoverty

Our MP Dan Aldridge MP visited the sorting office to thank staff for all their efforts this season. We could see just how hard everyone was working to deliver Christmas for us all.

We are heartbroken by the tragic loss of a young child in our community.

Our thoughts are with her family, friends and loved ones at this devastating time, and with everyone affected.

Weston is a caring community, and in moments like this we must look out for one another.

Labour’s Autumn Budget puts people first, with compassion and fairness at its core.

Scraps the cruel two-child limit, freezes rail fares for the first time in 30 years, boosts pensions, raises the Living Wage, and invests £300m in NHS tech and 250 neighbourhood health centres.

A Labour Budget! 🌹

🌹 Labour will abolish the two-child benefit cap from April.

Rachel Reeves is right: this cruel policy failed on every level and pushed children into poverty. No child should be punished for their birth, and no woman should face the humiliating “rape clause” ever again.

A fairer Britain starts now

The Greens talk a big game on workers’ rights but when it mattered, their peers voted with the Conservatives and Lib Dems to weaken the Employment Rights Bill.

Usdaw’s letter says it all.
Workers deserve better than Green Party hypocrisy.
Only Labour will strengthen rights, not water them down. 🌹

💷 Big news for Weston-super-Mare workers! Labour’s Rachel Reeves is raising the minimum & living wage:

Over 21s: £12.71/hr

18–20: £10.85/hr

16–17 & apprentices: £8/hr

Fair pay for all, putting more money in your pocket! 💪 #LivingWage #FairPay #Labour
