Corruption in plain sight and on an industrial scale. The GOP will live to regret letting the Orange Man-Baby do all of this.

England are so predictable. Usual boring rubbish; no pace in the game, no guile.

I find it funny that Daniel Levy never, ever, sacks himself from a role to which, based on recent history, he is eminently unsuited.

Joe Root is amazing. There were THREE players who failed to score and ONE who only got TWO; yet Root, with 166 not out carried the team to victory.

Man of the people, Nigel Farage, seems to believe that working class men, in a working men's club, watch Channel 4 Racing. That will be a surprise to ITVRacing, who have been covering horse racing since 2017. Who wrote his speech?

I cannot understand why the Tories and Reform believe that Brexit has been sold down the river. Sovereignty and being rule-takers is pure straw-man sophistry. The deal will be good for growth and good for young people. Perhaps Nigel will tell us what he is specifically against? Maybe not.

VAR isn't the problem. The problem is the truly inept set of referees that monitor the system. Henderson should have been sent off. He deliberately handled the ball outside of the area, which is a red-card offence on its own, never mind him stopping a clear goal-scoring opportunity.

It will be interesting to find out what the Precariat feel about Trumpgeld.

Musk, Bezos and Zuckerberg are making a huge strategic mistake in championing Trump. The USA isn't a plutocracy and Trump has a date-stamp on his forehead. People aren't stupid: a backlash is coming.

The rise in my water bill from Yorkshire Water has wiped out my entire increase in state pension. This is on top of my council tax increase. Happy Days.

I rather think that ignoring a Supreme Court ruling when they have voted 9-0 on an issue, will backfire on the Orange Felon.

Dear @theguardian.com I have now cancelled my subscription seeing as you are either too incompetent or too bone idle to sort out my issue. Your loss.
April 15, 2025 at 12:06 PM
Seeing as @theguardian.com are pestering me to subscribe when I already do, I have decided to cancel my subscription and they can then pester me for not being a subscriber. Saves me money and makes perfect sense, in a Kafkaesque kind of way.

Trump is a mercantilist: plain and simple. He thinks trade is a zero-sum game. Adam Smith is spinning in his grave.
