Who else remembers the Die Hard sequel with a tech-nerd villain, who takes over important gov systems w/his minions, pretending to have a noble cause, but it's all a distraction to enrich himself? "Everything I've broken can be fixed if the country is willing to pay for it."
Me when I get to see friends like twice per year.

I need MI: The Final Reckoning to be great so badly that it's almost embarrassing. Please please please be incredible.

Find friends that’ll laugh with you about the most awful things imaginable. There’s no friend like a dark humor friend.

Some weird fun with cheap lens diopters. The distorted/blurred edges and edging CA are pretty wild on my anamorphic lenses. Tried it on a 200mm spherical as well.

We better get a few great rock n roll songs out of this bs.

I could go the rest of my life without seeing another blockbuster movie trailer that builds up multiple times to the same type of dramatic or (supposed) comedic moments, only to give you some of the worst dialog you've ever heard as a punchline.

My wife and I watched through every season of LOST while she was pregnant with our son. He's 13 now, our daughter is 11, and we've started watching the show with both of them. Feelin' ooooooold ya'll.

A few common sense positions does not qualify a foolish or borderline nutcase to be in a position of immense power and influence, but a lot of people seem to think so, and that should bother everyone.

The problem with opening a package of Starburst minis is that they're gone now and I'm sad.

More random close up / light experiments today. This MC Pro and magnet/mount it comes with is awesome.

Soderbergh is one of my fav filmmakers bc he's fought for decades to continue trying, stretching, swapping approaches/genres, new tech/gear, something fresh, avoiding stagnation. He always seems grateful that he got another chance too. I love that. Go see PRESENCE.

Wanted to do a light/color/grade test and didn’t have a person so I grabbed random stuff in the bathroom. 😂🤷🏻‍♂️ Kinda dig the simplicity of an extreme close up of objects. Toss me a suggestion. Going to try again tomorrow. 🤔

Yes, everything is stupid and you can't do much about it... but you *can* turn motion smoothing off on your friend or family members TV. Do what you can. Be the change you want to see in the world.
