So the term “non-verbal” is now considered inaccurate and offensive. The correct term to use is “non-speaking”. As a SLP student I never once thought of the term to be inappropriate to use, but I kinda understand why they made the change.

I was able to save up $20K, but I had to take out $4K to pay for my tuition. I was lowkey upset about it, but then I realized that at least I had the $4K to pull. That’s a good thing ☺️
