There is nothing comforting about “I’m just as scared as you” coming from the legislative branch that’s supposed to keep checks and balances on the executive. While she thought it was relatable, it is actually mortifying.

In a time-honoured display of procrastination over a 1000-word article I'm supposed to be writing for @theshot.net.au on Dutton's lack of policy, I got on a "when he got there the cupboard was there" jag & wrote a 55 word limerick instead. Not sure that Dave will think it a viable substitute.

While I was reading grocery labels, a man piped up, "we have to be diligent and not buy US products." Yes we do.
I bought oranges from Spain, mandarins from Mexico, cheese from Canada and UK, spinach, and kale from Canada. Coffee roasted and packaged in Canada and local eggs.
