The people who are mad at Mark Carney for doing a deal with China on EVs are the *same* ones who think Canada should build a bunch of new pipelines to sell oil and gas to...China.

Set aside the hypocrisy for a moment and ask: can they not see where the puck is going here?

Haha lots of laughs in that reddit post, worth a few minutes to read some.
In today's episode of "Meet The Faculty Of Peterson Academy," we examine the intellectual creds of "Award winning professor" Dr. John Vervaeke.

Just go read.

Why does the federal government continue to subsidize an industry that won't even clean up its own mess? Canadian taxpayers are getting dinged twice -- first to help those companies extract resources, then again when we have to clean up the mess they left behind.

Fuck this.
"Landowners’ frustration with industry is reaching a boiling point... Unless these issues are addressed, there can be no consideration of increased production, no new pipelines, or carbon capture and storage. It makes no sense."

You cannot have a better example of how conservatives are divided - and how they’re completely offside with the rest of Canadians.
Despite Conservatives’ best efforts, the vast majority of Canadians remain united against Trump.

A visual explaining an unfortunate truth; idiots live in Canada, too. Lucky for us, they generally flock to the same dumpster fire, so they're often easy to point out.

Personally, I'm not stoked about the idea of a Liberal majority.

Minority governments are better for democracy (despite the instability) because they require compromise and collaboration.

With a majority, CEO Carney would be in full effect.
Dimitri Soudas, former Harper comms guy, told RadCan this morning that he's hearing Conservative MP Matt Jeneroux will cross the floor to the Liberals today.

If this happens, the Liberals are one seat short of a majority. You know what that means.

That's right.
