The new IMPD transparency hub is promising, but I was curious to see that they don't include ethnicity in the dataset, just race. I believe they were compelled to publish this, and I wonder if the enabling legislation just omitted ethnicity? Would like to know how IMPD is treating Hispanic people.

Late Saturday night/early Sunday morning a helicopter circled my neighborhood for some time. I was able to go back and identify it, although it had requested that tracking be disabled. I believe it was owned by ISP. It took off from the IMPD training facility at 10th and Post and landed at Greenwood

This story may have been based on my tip! I was looking at the list of projects and saw Brian Mowery's project and it seemed extremely random, until I looked at the property records and saw where he owns a house.

The workflow where I open an app and to log in they send a code to my email, but when I switch to my email app and back it reloads the app without saving the state and I have to log in again, triggering another code via email... A few sites and apps have a "already have a code" option, which is nice

Nothing is more defeating then the firewall slamming down while you are trying to configure it. On the one hand, I've now established that fail2ban is working well, on the other hand now I need the out of band console to whitelist my IP.
