Woke up to two different data breach alerts.

I don't want your "free identity protection" I want you to stop fucking up.

This isn't going to change until companies have to pay for their failures.

Sick of YouTube ads? I know I am!

If you use a Roku to watch YouTube videos on your TV check out the Playlet Roku app. It strips YouTube videos of their ads and works surprisingly well.

Every single "the robots are here" story from CES is wrong

Can someone please put together a company that aggregates the content from independent investigative journalists and allows you to support them using a single monthly payment.

This $5 here $2 there stuff is killing me. I'm sick to death of the scattered news environment.

I reset my Android ad ID the other day.

Why we allow Google to continue with this nonsense is beyond me.
Here is a (likely incomplete) list of apps that are enabling ICE to track your smartphone's location.

Download, mirror, and reshare.

I've had no less than a dozen robotics people ask me if I was planning to attend CES.

This coverage of CES sums up exactly what I'm afraid of regarding consumer robotics.

For the most part, robots belong in factories, farms, hospitals, and in space not in homes.
Here's Ep 2 of Better Offline's CES coverage - I'm joined by @niedermeyer.online, @henrytcasey.net, @edwardongwesojr.com and @bishonentype.bsky.social to talk wireless TVs, useless smart glasses, and the big lie of consumer robotics.
