Congrats to Alex. He shows in J. Phys. Chem. C how to incorporate two different types of quantum defects in fluorescent carbon nanotubes. It opens new dimensions to tailor photophysics and surface chemistry.

Great collaboration with the Borchardt group. It is possible to incorporate tiny numbers of quantum defects in

Congratulations to Chen. She shows in JPC C that solvatochromic dyes on carbon nanotubes modulate/improve their biosensing performance. For example for pH sensing or detection of lipids, which is often a challenge. @solvationsci.bsky.social @ruhr-uni-bochum.de tinyurl.com/3kyy3zu6
