well they were always there. it's barely possible to see at all in right lighting conditions, but hmm... that's still going to bother the hell out of me because i really like this camera, but... yeah.
There's a lot of stuff I need to translate from there. It's another ye olde site that doesn't cleanly translate if you just stick the link into Google. Ah well.
Speaking of ah well... My DC-2L has stuck pixels. I need to investigate if they were always there, or if it's dying on me already.

and no i don't have any DJ1000 pigeon pics like i promised. because i love sabotaging myself, i bought a full battery set, both for this camera and the ricoh dc-2 i was still waiting on.
i instead used some batts that were "still good", but they weren't enough to power the ccd lol.

this is the main appeal for me over more conventional digital cameras.
hoping for an opportunity for some good indoor lighting shots because it gets super fucked up with the noise captured.

well i did stop at the park, tried to take some pigeon pics and some woodland shots with the DJ-1000...
...except I didn't, because the card didn't delete properly, and stale images are on there and none of the pics I took.
Starting to not like this camera lol.

here's an example of the dj-1000 with some indoor stuff. this is a fish tank, i promise. no i don't know why it's so purple.

okay it was supposed to rain, and it did, but there was a clear spot on the precipitation map, so planned ahead to test the camera some more.
unfortunately i didn't account for the open air blasting of storm wind + the batteries died on me while there lol
