The other one that I haven't used yet reported like 55kb (compared to 18kb) in bad sectors and had some bits of dust on the surface, but I might just need to physically magnetise and format it again as I've heard that can solve that.
But I also should just buy more floppies anyways.

i don't have any tools and because i am too committed to the bit, my only floppy drive is in a Win98 system lol so I don't have modern luxuries and doing this manually but lol

I don't have many A B comparisons but, the last most pigeon I also took on my main camera (Panasonic Lumix FZ82) and this is more closer to what it was actually like. Though, perhaps a little undersaturated lol.

Anyway this is what I was alluding to. I've been busy fixing up a Dell Latitude C600 and getting a new floppy drive module for it. I could've gotten a regular USB floppy drive to make it more convenient getting pics onto my main PC, and I probably will, but full commitment to the bit is my mantra.

got it all done, boards swapped (or just the bottoms, because i didn't wanna deal with the speaker wiring... but...) there's now interference with the display/speakers. i probably borked the emi protection or this base unit was just fucked too but eh i got it running, so i don't care rn lol

it posted briefly to give a ram error, swapping ram (of unknown condition) resulted in no posting again. i'll just tear down both and swap the mainboards over i guess...

i make a druaga1 joke and now i'm here swapping motherboards to fix a problem lol
