I went on a #PolarExpress train in Essex, CT yesterday… we drank hot chocolate and sang many holiday songs.. just lovely. Here’s to hoping that you too share time well spent with those you love this season ❄️🎄

I’ve a simple opinion about AI.
It’s either used for improved technology~ infrastructure/medical … If it is used for ‘entertainment’ it can fuck off.. ‘it’ = anyone who uses ‘it’ for face/voice manipulation or any other dumb ass shit meant to entertain idiots.

For nice pleasantries I stay here on @bsky.app … if I’m looking to see if absurd Right-Wing Ideology is failing and/or Democracy will survive, I go to the other space. It only takes a moment there before I’m like WTF. Weird Sex stuff… constant fist fights… all of this stuff in my ‘feed’.. sad. GTBH

For those that seek a certain ambience whilst writing (Fantasy/Epic)… I would definitely recommend listening to #AndreiKrylov Such an immersive experience and I find that through his catalog I can near always find a song that fits the coming scene.

We should create proper names for what AI is: sub-names.
Good AI: Informed Medical Intelligence or ‘IMI’
Absurd AI: Stolen Identity Bot or ‘SIB’ Etc…
AI should be used only as a tool for good… but sadly, so so much of our society revolves around ‘money’ 😞

So… I’m digging the move from X -> Blu. And I go over to Pinterest and it’s really starting to hit me… that algorithm truly sucks, and all I’m getting are basically ‘sponsored’ ads… totally unuseable… is there another app that’s ‘better?’

At the very least… I thought about writing today…. And, I went to our local bookstore and did some holiday shopping with my 7yo niece (who is amazing by the way)… and we each had a Macaron!! Pretty darn good day if I do say so myself 🌸🕉️🌸

Remove the focus from ‘word count’ - Just write… write when you’re inspired. Focus on the quality and technique. Edits/Revision will be easier and quite likely your story will be better for it. 🔮
