This pup found a stick shaped like an old timey pipe earlier today and has already solved three mysteries. 13/10
a brown wire-haired pup stands on a wooden deck in a grassy yard. he looks at us with golden eyes and his right ear flipped inside out. he has a pipe-shaped stick in his mouth, giving him the appearance of a sophisticated and dapper gentleman. just give him a deerstalker cap and a cloak, and he'd give Sherlock Holmes a run for his money.

Hurricanes begin in a place where no one lives. Agents of the government start to wear masks. Fascism is a word my neighbors won't use yet. They are following the law, they say, and the sirens are coming for someone else.

Watercolour, pen and ink notice for the Crime Museum in elaborate calligraphy, a different font and colour for each line. Overall, it reads 'Museum is open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between the hours of 2 and 4 p.m. only, upon presentation of a proper order 8th May 1894 By order of the Commissioner', a post then held by the one-armed Colonel Sir Edward Bradford, previously of the 14th Light Dragoons, Mayne's Irregular Cavalry (formed by a distant relation of one of the first Met Commissioners) and the Indian Civil Service and husband to Jane Austen's great-great niece.
