My insurance went up $450 a year, because I rear-ended somebody that was on their phone and had to slam on their brakes which caused me to slam on my brakes. Her car had one tiny scratch on it, because I hit them going maybe 2 miles an hour. I fucking hate the United States.

Longest speaking filibuster ever was 24 hours, 18 minutes by Strom Thurmond in opposition to the Civil Rights Act of 1957.

In a few hours, that record will be shattered by Sen. Cory Booker, a Black man, laying out the case for saving democracy from an aspiring despot.

I’m two years cancer free today. If I’m totally honest, I wish those around me would realize how much this day means to me.

Only my cancer friends appreciate the impact of these milestones.

My quarterly oncology appointment is tomorrow. My body knows, insomnia and out of control emotions. This time around I’m getting a lot more anger that this is my life, and it feels so out of my control. And it puts me back into fight or flight. #tnbcthrivers #cancersurvivor

I’m here for this energy and I hope all the governors adopt it. Unfortunately DeSantis could never and were effed down here.

This administration has convinced half the country that the real problem isn’t billionaires who evade taxes and collect government handouts but the working class who pay taxes and get nothing in return.

It's weirdly difficult to remember that Trump's popular vote margin was /less/ than Hillary's in 2016. Biden got more votes in 2020 than Trump got in 2024 and Trump surrogates all under-performed in congressional races.

This is not a mandate, I don't get why it is being portrayed that way.

My implant is hurting so much. It’s annoying and no one knows what’s causing it. But it’s my cancer side and anxiety can be a bitch sometimes and send me spiraling.

So it’s already unlawful, and we’re gonna try to pass another law against it?
If the Treasury Secretary does not remove DOGE’s access to the Treasury payment systems at once:

Congress must immediately act.

That is why Rep. Jeffries and I will work together on legislation to stop unlawful meddling in the Treasury Department’s payment systems.
