Trade deficits sound scary, but aren’t. Buying more from a grocery store than it buys from you is normal - so is a trade deficit. Trade deficits are often larger when we have money to spend.

Setting tariffs based on trade deficits is like taxing your grocery store hoping it’ll shop at your house.

I say this all the time to teachers & those who present to teachers & others - about live captions built into #Google Slides and #Powerpoint

Using captions is #UDL

Usable by all, necessary for some

Next time you present to a group, turn on captions- it removes barriers

This is so true. There are alternative pathways out there, but they are time-consuming and complicated.

Educational institutions need funding for training and research, which *might* open up time for exploration of these pathways.

Yes! It’s not that teachers couldn’t level text, create alt assignments, etc. it’s that they don’t have the time to do it. AI helps create these items in a fraction of the time. Giving time back to teachers that desperately need it. #EduSkyAI

A1 - What excites me most is teaching people to leverage AI to level the playing field for people with disabilities. Whether the users are disabled themselves or in our case the educators supporting people with disabilities.

So many are challenged and honestly distracted by the “cheating” conversation around AI.

They are missing the real challenge of how our teaching practice needs to change, incorporate AI to better serve students.

AI is incredible to make creating art acceptable.

Steve Gleason is a football legend and an ALS activist. He is using AI image generator with eye tracking to create images from his pre-diagnosis artwork.

ALS causes loss of muscle control, so AI is a way for Steve to make art.
