Tonight was Mikal Bridges' first 10-assist game of this season. Had just one turnover in the process.

He scored 6 points on 3-of-5 shooting, grabbed 5 rebounds, had 2 steals and a block.

Knicks won his 35 minutes by three points.

Knicks win 130-125.

The mouth laceration Ariel Hukporti suffered likely played a direct role, but Mike Brown played TWELVE (12) different Knicks tonight...

Deuce McBride made his return to the lineup – and to making huge fourth quarter plays.

NY moves to 23-9 (and a Cup).
December 30, 2025 at 3:39 AM
Knicks' challenge was ruled unsuccessful.

Zion Williamson shot and made two free throws to pull the Pelicans within one.

Jalen Brunson answered, Knicks back up three.

Pels go back to Zion, Zion goes back to the rim. NY's lead back to one.
December 30, 2025 at 3:34 AM
Deuce McBride may have just won the Knicks this game.

Big go-ahead 3-pointer with two minutes left and a Hart-esque offensive board on a missed Brunson 3-pointer. Got it back to Jalen, who then made a floater

NY leads 124-121 with 50.6s left in NOLA. Knicks challenging a foul

Knicks take a four-point lead with a 16-0 run in the last 4:22. That’ll play.

Mikal Bridges just hit a corner 3-pointer, blocked a shot 16 seconds later, and scored in transition five seconds after that

45-41 over the Cavs. 6:13 2Q

Mike Brown said he "doesn't think anybody" gives Jalen Brunson problems.

The point guard won NBA Cup MVP, called and hit a game-winner, and set an MSG career-high: all in the last week.

That vindicated Mike Brown, who deemed him unguardable on Friday. My latest: clutchpoints.com/nba/new-york...
Knicks' Jalen Brunson vindicates Mike Brown’s ‘unguardable’ praise
Jalen Brunson keeps reaching new heights as a Knick. After an NBA Cup MVP win and a game-winner, he gave the Heat a 47-point masterclass.

Google is an elite modern example of crowd-wisdom.

A website that links to another website is “voting” for that site. If a lot of people click a site, that site’s “votes” matter more.

Instead of crowdsourcing, they’re going to just assign authority to the highest bidder via AI overview. Cool.
I should have seen AI overview coming as the next step of the whole “do your own research, ignore professionals, just stick to what the internet tells you” thing

Within the year we’ll start getting sponsored AI overview results. It will make us all less intelligent

Mike Brown on Mitchell Robinson's free throws:

"He's been working hard. It's a process, Peter Patton's done a great job with him, Mark Bryant's done a great job with him, but more importantly, Mitch has bought in..."

Spoke to how results can motivate whole team, not just Mitch

Mike Brown identifies turnovers as why the Knicks lost.

"[The 76ers] got up into us and it bothered us a little bit. We had 18 turnovers, the game was lost in turnovers...for 16 points compared to their 11 for two points..."
December 20, 2025 at 2:48 AM
That's that.

Karl-Anthony Towns with a step-back two-pointer: his heel was on the line.

Tyrese Maxey hit the dagger from the right corner. That's 30 points on the dot for the 25-year-old star guard, who shot just 11 for 24 but made six of 12 3-pointers.

76ers 116, Knicks 107.
December 20, 2025 at 2:38 AM
Tyrese Maxey drove & dumped one to Andre Drummond, who laid it in and got fouled by Karl-Anthony Towns on his way up.

Drummond made the FT. 76ers lead 111-105. 1:55 4Q
December 20, 2025 at 2:35 AM
Great response from Mikal Bridges, who cashes one from the left corner to pull the Knicks back within three.

Two minutes left.
December 20, 2025 at 2:34 AM
VJ Edgecombe just went killer mode. Looked off a wide, wide open Jared McCain in the corner to pull up, contested, from the mid-range. Swish.

Then, a pull-up 3-pointer from 26' out. Got him to 21 points on the night.

Sixers 108, Knicks 102. 2:31 4Q
December 20, 2025 at 2:34 AM
This game has been so ridiculous all around I've almost forgotten to keep score

Sixers 103, Knicks 100. 4:44 left. Should be fun
December 20, 2025 at 2:29 AM
Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe got out on a 2-on-1 fastbreak with Tyler Kolek being the Knicks' only line of defense

All I'm going to say is that the 76ers did not score
December 20, 2025 at 2:22 AM
Karl-Anthony Towns just did the LeBron-to-Zizic no-look pass, finding Mitchell Robinson open for a dunk (and-one)

Robinson made the free throw. He has 19 points, 13 rebounds tonight on 7-8 FT shooting. Okay!
December 20, 2025 at 2:20 AM
Mitchell Robinson's up to 6-of-7 shooting from the free throw line.

He has 14 points, nine rebounds, an assist
December 20, 2025 at 1:56 AM
Mitchell Robinson's up to 5-6 from the free throw line.

76ers still lead. 85-82 with 2:44 left in 3Q
December 20, 2025 at 1:55 AM
Knicks lead 59-57 at halftime.

Jalen Brunson has 16 points on 6-12 FG for New York. Struggling from distance (1-4 3PT) but has six(!) rebounds, three assists with no TOVs.

Tyrese Maxey started hot, still leads the way for the 76ers. 17 points on 7-12 FG, 3-7 3PT, and no TOVs
December 20, 2025 at 1:15 AM
Mitchell Robinson just brutalized the rim with a one-handed putback jam. Just absolutely tomahawked that thing down.

Not sure how else to put that. Oh my God. That's almost scary. How much pure force is in a dunk like that? Where is Sport Science?
December 20, 2025 at 1:05 AM
Jalen Brunson just took a weird fall after a 3-pt try. Mike Brown, right there, picked him up himself.

After getting back up, Brunson hopped awkwardly, as if to work out a kink, and got right back to it.

Likely nothing but noteworthy IMO after he missed time earlier this year
December 20, 2025 at 1:00 AM
Kolek/Bridges/Anunoby/Towns/Robinson was working like it never did before because the defense had to respect Kolek both as a penetrator and shooter

until they committed a bunch of turnovers and maybe also a frustration foul
December 20, 2025 at 12:53 AM
Mitchell Robinson is 3-4 from the free-throw line tonight.

Crowd very pleased. Knicks take a 38-34 lead with 8:40 to go until half
December 20, 2025 at 12:51 AM
The Knicks are playing defense like this is their third game in three days.

PHI 27, NYK 23 and Mike Brown calls timeout. 2:22 left in the opening quarter
