My piece for NUZ: Zine One 🌕☁️
A greyscale illustration of four animals; a unicorn, coyote, wolf, and werewolf. The figures float against a white background, the wolf, were, and coyote are bursting and seeping from the unicorn's spine, who cranes her head down toward her outstretched hoof. The coyote and wolf are positioned between the unicorn and the werewolf's large form, the were has one fore submerged in the unicorns back, and its other sits hovering near the wolf as if it were about to loop it around the wolf and hold it close. The wolf has its head turned up almost sitting in the crook of the werewolf's shoulder and neck. Its paws float relaxed. The coyote emerges from the unicorn below the wolf, its upper body curves to follow the slope of the unicorns neck, and the silhouettes of it its hinds can be seen spouting from the belly of the unicorn. Its forepaws steady itself on her neck, one paw tangled in the unicorn's flowing mane. It wears a radio collar. The wolf, were, and unicorn all hold their relaxed heads either upwards or down, their eyes are closed. The coyote, who looks poised to pull itself out of the unicorn entirely, has its eyes open, and its lowered head looks forward, it meets the viewers gaze knowingly and directly.

sometimes having no object permanence is great bc i just bought myself a new bowl yesterday and then i forgot i had it until just now when i opened the cupboard and i got so unreasonably happy, i almost audibly went “my bowl!!!!!! :D”
