A trade deficit is as simple as me waking into Best Buy to purchase a TV. I now have a trade deficit with best buy (ie purchase more from them than they purchase from me). Everyone is better off, certainly better than best buy buying my tv. How is this a bad thing?

If you ever watched Game of Thrones you saw what happens when a ruler does whatever the fuck they want, with no consideration for right and wrong, to keep and retain power - "chaos is a ladder". Prescient. Littlefinger was eventually thrown down a chasm. That's what needs to happen now.
